Flower Tank Top

Here I am with another of my flower/tropical pattern pieces!
As I promised on a previous post, here it is another one of my clothes with flower/tropical pattern!
So I decided to take my flower tank top and match it with a pair of jeans which look like leather that I bought last week on Zara's sales (yeahhh!). I think the color coordination it's fantastic... I had this tank top for a while but never found a nice match for the bottom like I did now. I'm very pleased with the final result :)
Another interesting and new thing that you can see on this outfit is my flat sandals which I bought on a local shop and has the same color of the jeans. I think this worked really well, don't you?!
The neon clutch and the accessories you already know from previous posts, but I think that on this outfit the neon accessories really worked it out and gave even more life and color to the outfit.
About the earrings... I stole them from my mom (shhh... don't tell) :)

Decidi colocar o meu top florido e combina-lo com umas calças que parecem cabedal, que comprei a semana passada nos saldos da Zara (yeahhh!). Acho que a combinação de cores ficou fantástica... Já tinha este top há algum tempo, mas nunca encontrei uma parte de baixo que combinasse tão bem como esta. Estou muito satisfeita com o resultado :)
Outra coisa interessante e nova, que podem verificar no conjunto são as minhas sandálias, que comprei numa loja local, e que são da mesma cor que as calças. A combinação resultou mesmo bem, não acham?!
A carteira neon e os acessórios, já conheciam de posts anteriores, no entanto, acho que funcionaram bem, e deram mais vida e cor ao conjunto.
No que diz respeito aos brincos... Roubei-os à minha mãe (shhh... não digam nada) :)

Summer Accessories

No doubt that this is the time of the year where you can over accessorize!
I can't put on an outfit without some accessories so in this post I'll show you some of my personal choices for this summer.

Sem dúvida que esta é a altura do ano em que se pode usar e abusar de acessórios!
Eu não consigo usar uma roupa sem colocar alguns acessórios e por isso, neste post decidi mostrar-vos algumas das minhas escolhas para este Verão.

Rooftop Sunset Party

Let the summer parties begin!
This weekend, and after a long week of hard work, me and some of my friends went to a sunset party. It was produced by a local event planner company called Tender Events and was attended by DJ Hobo and some Portuguese DJ's. The concept of the party was really cool, relaxed and truly summer feeling. I loved it. Above all this, the event took place on the rooftop of Madeira's Casino, so the view was spectacular over Funchal. So you can imagine, me, my friends, nice music, fantastic view and a mojito... What more can a gal ask for, righ?!
I made a little video too so you can enjoy the same view that I enjoyed, it's really small but I hope you like it!

I decided to take to this event one of my favourites summer dresses and match it with my large earrings from Asos (I'm really addicted) and some bracelets from PJ Accessories (love the colors, I'm a great fan). Some of the photos I took at my place... Guess who came to peek the photoshoot?! :)

Que as festas de Verão comecem!
Este fim-de-semana, e após uma longa semana de trabalho, eu e alguns amigos fomos até uma festa ao fim da tarde. Esta festa foi organizada pela Tender Events, uma empresa que organiza eventos deste género, e que contou com a presença do DJ Hobo e alguns DJ's Portugueses. O conceito da festa foi muito fixe e diferente, com um sentimento de Verão à mistura. Adorei!
E, como se não bastasse, este evento teve lugar no terraço do Casino da Madeira, a vista sobre o Funchal era fantástica. Podem imaginar, eu, os amigos, a música, a vista e um mojito... O que é que posso pedir mais, certo?! Fiz um pequeno video (acima), para verem um pouco da paisagem que vos falei, é pequeno mas espero que gostem!
Para este evento, decidi levar um dos meus vestidos preferidos de Verão, e combiná-lo com alguns dos meus acessórios que neste momento estou a usar, tais como, os brincos gigantes da Asos e as pulseiras da PJ Accessories (adoro as cores, e já sou uma grande fã). Algumas das fotos tirei na minha casa... Adivinhem quem apareceu para espreitas?! :)

Happy 4th of July! (with Red Velvet Brownies)

Happy 4th of July everyone!
As I already shown on a previous post I really love America and it's culture! I admire how patriotic they are, I wish we had that same passion for the country here in Portugal... For those who don't know the 4th of July is a very important Holiday in the US, it's the Independence Day and they celebrate it with their flags, fireworks, typical food and so on. Me and my friends decided to celebrate the 4th of July with a delicious piece of red velvet brownies with cheese cream and a lemonade from Mercearia Dona Mecia, a traditional shop that only sells home made cakes and only Portuguese products! As for the cake, it was very much red and very much American but really delicious!
By the way, hope you like the outfit... It's almost matching with the cake :)

Feliz 4 de Julho!
Como disse num post anterior, adoro a América e a sua cultura! Admiro os americanos pelo seu patriotismo, gostava que tivéssemos a mesma paixão pelo país aqui em Portugal... Para aqueles que não conhecem, o 4 de Julho é um feriado importantes nos Estados Unidos, é o Dia da Independência e é celebrado com bandeiras, fogos de artificio, comida tradicional e por aí fora. Eu e alguns amigos decidimos celebrar o 4 de Julho com uma deliciosa fatia de red velvet brownie com queijo creme e uma limonada, da Mercearia Dona Mécia, que adoro pois só vende bolinhos caseiros e produtos Portugueses! Quanto ao bolo, era muito vermelho e muito Americano, mas verdadeiramente delicioso!
A propósito, espero que gostem também do outfit... Foi quase a condizer com o bolo :)

Sailor Paintings

First of all let me say I'm sorry that I didn't post anything in the last few days. But the wait is over and hope that this time I do it more regularly (fingers crossed)!
So today I wanted to do a post to make up for all the waiting so I thought on a different place to take my photos... As I said on a previous post, I love Street Art so I decided to go to the Funchal Marine because there are some great wall paintings made by sailors. I don't know what is about that but I just love it, the colors and how some paintings are missing some bits of paint. I love what represents it to me which is travel and sea, two things that I couldn't live without.
Regarding to fashion, I choose some vibrant colors to contrast with the paintings, I took my new platforms that I bought on Zara... Oh! And about the clutch I think that it's always nice to go with a different pattern when you have a color blocking outfit, don't you think?! :)

Antes de mais queria pedir desculpa por não ter publicado nada nos últimos dias. Mas a espera acabou, e espero que desta vez consiga publicar com mais regularidade (fazendo figas)!
Hoje queria fazer um post para compensar toda a espera, por isso pensei num lugar diferente para tirar as fotos... Como disse num post anterior, adoro Street Art. Então, fui até à Marina do Funchal, porque lá podemos encontrar pinturas feitas por marinheiros, nas paredes. Não sei porquê mas simplesmente adoro as pinturas, as cores, e gosto particularmente dos "pedacinhos" de tinta que faltam nas pinturas. Adoro o que estas pinturas representam, o mar e as viagens, duas coisas sem as quais não conseguiria viver.
No que toca à moda, escolhi cores vibrantes para contrastar com as pinturas, levei também as minhas novas sandálias que comprei na Zara... Ah! E a cerca da clutch, acho que é sempre interessante escolher um padrão diferente quando temos um outfit em color blocking, não acham?! :)
