Summer Accessories

No doubt that this is the time of the year where you can over accessorize!
I can't put on an outfit without some accessories so in this post I'll show you some of my personal choices for this summer.

Sem dúvida que esta é a altura do ano em que se pode usar e abusar de acessórios!
Eu não consigo usar uma roupa sem colocar alguns acessórios e por isso, neste post decidi mostrar-vos algumas das minhas escolhas para este Verão.

Starting with the hair, this summer the flower power is back so you can always put a single flower or a flower crown in your hair. It gives you a fresh and a hippie chiq kinda look, I love it! This choice I would wear on a summer festival or on a regional traditional party (here in Madeira we call it "Arraial").

Começando pelo cabelo, este Verão a tendência "flower power" está de volta, por isso, podem usar esta tendência para colocar uma flor no cabelo ou até uma coroa de flores. Dá-vos um look fresco e hippie chiq, adoro! Estas escolhas levaria, por exemplo, a um festival ou até mesmo a um arraial.

For ears I have so many choices cause I have a thing for earrings. As you can see on some of my previous posts I've chosen a big statement earrings from Asos cause they match with everything. But here you can see some of my other earrings that I'm using this summer. I think sometimes just a big pair of earrings with a bold lipstick is fantastic don't you think?!

Para as orelhas tenho imensas escolhas porque tenho um fraquinho por brincos. Como podem ver em alguns dos meus posts anteriores, tenho escolhido os brincos gigantes da Asos porque ficam bem com tudo. Mas aqui podem ver alguns dos meus brincos que vou usar durante o Verão. Na minha modesta opinião, uns brincos gigantes com um batom de cor forte fica fantástico, não acham?!

About the necklaces I think there are too many choices you can do here and never go wrong. Just be careful with the colors you choose and match it well with you outfit. I think for example the neon colors go very well with an outfit with pastel colors, and other way round. Here are some of the choices I made this year, some are new and some are older (I like to mix the old with the new).

Quanto aos colares, acho que há demasiadas escolhas que se podem fazer e nunca errar. Apenas ter um certo cuidado com as cores que se escolhe e combinar bem com a roupa. Por exemplo, as cores neon ficam muito bem com roupas em tons pastel, ou ao contrário. Aqui ficam alguns dos colares que escolhi para este ano, alguns são novos, outros nem tanto assim (gosto de misturar o velho com o novo).

Regarding the rings all I have to say is that I love those rings with the big stones very colorful but this summer I'm using a particular little one. It was from my dad when he was a baby and I stole from him :P... It's a silver ring with a little stone in the middle. Cute, right...
And finally the bracelets, my great passion this summer, specially those friendship macrame bracelets with neon or pastel colors and very cool patterns. I found out a Portuguese facebook store a couple weeks ago called PJ Accessories and I fell immediately in love with it. I like those bracelets with pendants too and the ones with chunky chain that always matches well with a smaller colorful one. This summer is all about bracelets so if you know how to make it, why not right...
So this were my choices for my summer, hope you like it :)

No que toca aos anéis, tudo o que tenho para dizer é que adoro aqueles anéis com pedras gigantes e bem coloridas, mas este Verão estou a usar um anel particularmente pequenino. Era do meu pai quando ainda era bebé e eu roubei-o :P... É um anel prateado com uma pequena pedrinha incrustada ao meio. Fofi, não é...
E, finalmente, as pulseiras, a minha grande paixão este Verão, especialmente aquelas de macramé com cores neon ou pastel, e com padrões muito giros. Descobri há pouco tempo, uma loja Portuguese no facebook chamada PJ Accessories (ou Pulseiras da Joe) e fiquei imediatamente apaixonada. Também gosto muito de pulseiras com pendentes e aquelas com correntes gigantes para fazer o contraste com alguma mais pequena colorida. Este Verão tem tudo a ver com pulseiras, por isso, se sabem fazer bijuteria, porque não, não é...
